Space C7 is proud to present, FAN OF A FAN no. 2. Building on the inaugural event last year, this iteration promises to be another exciting event. Fan of a Fan is a self-curated group show designed to celebrate Texas Contemporary art and the amazing artists that make it. This show exists for two reasons. First, to bring as many artists as possible together to celebrate themselves for one night, and secondly, to raise money not for any institution or cause, but for the hardworking artists. Every penny of every sale goes to the artists.

This year, Space C7 Director, Jeff Wheeler invited local art royalty Ethel Shipton, Chris Sauter, and Andy Benavides to join him in curating. This exhibit pays homage to artists that inspire artists. Each of the curators picked five artists each that they are fans of. Each of those twenty artists, in turn, picked one artist that they are fans of. When the dust settles, we will have 44 artists assembled for what promises to be another special night on the Southside.

Please join us March 28th, as we celebrate the opening of this exciting exhibit as well as the closing of yet another successful year of Cotemporary Art Month. There will be lots of participating artists and their friends, DJ NOVASOUL spinning some tunes, the CAM awards ceremony, and of course, lots of outstanding Texas Art. Hope to see you there!
